The Conference
Research-informed, Christ-centered perspectives
March 13, 2027
09:00 am
The Transformational Truth Conference meets a deep and growing need in the church and wider community for clear, compassionate, and biblically grounded teaching on today’s most challenging sexual and relational issues. Many pastors, parents, teachers, and ministry leaders feel unequipped to respond well when people they love face unplanned pregnancy, post-abortion pain, unwanted same-sex attraction, gender dysphoria, or relational brokenness.
The conference brings high-level speakers and practical insight so attendees leave with both truth and tools—able to speak with confidence, care, and hope rather than silence or fear. It also addresses the isolation and confusion that many individuals and families experience. In a culture that often offers only polarized messages, the conference creates space for people to hear research-informed, Christ-centered perspectives and to learn how to walk alongside others without compromising biblical conviction or relational grace. Attendees gain language, resources, and encouragement that help them support real people in real situations—whether in the pew, the home, the classroom, or the counseling room.
Finally, the conference strengthens the local church’s capacity to offer lasting hope. By equipping leaders and congregants, it multiplies the reach of ministries like Path of Life, which provides free, confidential care in pregnancy support, post-abortion recovery, and relational discipleship. The result is a better-prepared community that can respond to cultural pressures with both clarity and compassion, helping more people find the path of life that leads to healing and restoration.

Speakers
Powerful personal testimony & thoughtful cultural analysis

Lex and Nic Renick
Lex and Nic Renick share one of the most powerful testimonies of transformation in the church today. Lex lived as a transgender man for 14 years, and the couple previously presented as a same-sex couple before surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ. Through the gospel, God restored their identities, renewed their marriage, and brought healing that only He could accomplish. Today they are husband and wife, parents, and full-time ministers who travel to share the hope of Christ with those struggling with same-sex attraction and gender dysphoria. Their story has been featured on CBN News, the Lila Rose Show, the Michael Knowles Show, and other national platforms, offering a compelling witness that no one is beyond the reach of God’s redeeming power.

Dr. Carl Trueman
Dr. Carl Trueman is a professor, author, and one of the clearest Christian voices addressing the cultural confusion surrounding identity, sexuality, and the human person. He serves as Professor of Biblical and Religious Studies at Grove City College and has held visiting roles at Princeton University and the University of Notre Dame. A contributing editor at First Things and a fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, Dr. Trueman is the author of several influential books, including The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self, Strange New World, and The Desecration of Man. An ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, he combines scholarly depth with pastoral concern, helping the church understand the roots of today’s identity crisis and respond with both truth and compassion.
